First time backpacking

It's more then 12 years ago when i did my first backpacking trip.Straight to India.It was the culture shock of my life,especially being it my first trip out of Europe.In the years that followed i explored much more of the small planet we live on but that first trip is still freshly printed in my head.

Preparing for such a trip takes some time and thinking over,which i didn't realize or did back then.Off course 10 years ago internet wasn't what it is now. Typing in a few keywords in Google search and of you go. With a choice out of thousands of sites there isn't a place on the planet that is not described .It's just up to you to pick the right one that you think provides the best information.

By looking around on the Web i found an interesting site that might be of some use if you're going on your first big trip.
travelindependent is a site made for the first timer backpacker. Here i found some useful tips about preparing,from travel documents,packing too health tips.With a list of over 60 country's it's likely that you find some information on places you want to visit.I definitely enjoyed looking around on the site.With a collection off several hundreds of links it was a backpackers trip in cyberspace.
